Workshop and Testing Under Real Operating Conditions
Modern rail vehicles are networked systems with complex communication structures. This connectivity brings efficiency gains but also creates new attack opportunities. The FINESSE project develops solutions for these challenges and recently conducted a workshop with test runs at the Advanced Train Lab (aTL) in Scheibenberg.

From March 17-19, 2025, the FINESSE research consortium presented at the National IT Security Research Conference in Berlin. Under the theme “Cybersecurity and Democracy,” around 450 participants from science, business, and politics gathered to exchange the latest research findings.

On December 11, 2024, Yekta IT, partner in the FINESSE consortium, presented the innovative YekCar Automotive Demonstrator at IT Security Day NRW in Bonn. With over 1,000 participants, the event provided an important platform for exchanging information about current cyber threats.
